The church calendar year is divided into six periods as follows.

1) From Koodosh Etho Sunday to Yeldo (Christmas)

2) From Yeldo to Kothine Sunday (Water made to wine)  

3) From Kothine to Kymtha (Resurrection)                         

4) From Kymtha to Pentecost  

5) From Pentecost to Sleeba                                           

6) From Sleeba to Koodosh Etho
