C.S.Paul was till recently the Managing Partner of Grace Auto Parts - a Machine Shop - supplying machined components to automobile ancillary industries. He has now retired after being in this business for more than 30 years.
A tool engineer by profession, he worked for Tool Rooms in India and Singapore before settling in Hosur during 1984, to start a business of his own.
His wife Susanna is a teacher at the Asian Christian High School, Hosur.
Their only daughter Shirley is married to Binu Thomas. They are employed and settled in Bangalore.
Both Paul and his wife Susanna were born and brought up in Coimbatore. Their parents were from Kunnamkulam in Kerala.
After his school days, Paul's contact with the Church was only occasional. After settling in Hosur, his family used to attend churches of other denominations, as the nearest Syrian Orthodox Church was in Bangalore.
It was only in 2003 they came to know about the St. Gregorios Church in Hosur and began to attend the Services regularly. This contact with the Church after such a long interval, gave Paul a desire to refresh his understanding of the Syriac Orthodox Faith, Traditions and the Holy Qurbana.
The search for information made him realise that there were many like him, who may be interested in gaining a basic knowledge about the Church. This is what inspired him to compile the contents of this website.
